2012 Revolutionary War Reenactment - Brandywine Creek State Park Delaware

The Revolutionary War Reenactment is taking place next Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16, at the Brandywine Creek State Park in Wilmington Delaware.

Looking for something different to do this weekend? The 2d Virginia Regiment will once again be hosting the Revolutionary War reenactment at Brandywine Creek State Park to commemorate the 235th anniversary of the Philadelphia Campaign. This two day event will replay the local events of the Campaign and provide visitors with the chance to walk among the troops and visit period merchants.

A half dozen Crown Troop Units and over ten Continental Forces Units are already registered representing infantry, artillery, and calvary forces.

Be sure to check out the Philadelphia Campaign website for complete details of the event. Brandywine Creek State Park is located just north of Wilmington at the intersections of Route 100 and Route 92. The site will be open to the public from 9-4 on Saturday and 9-3 on Sunday.

Be sure to take some time off, enjoy the park, learn some history, and enjoy more of what this area has to offer!
