Suburban Philadelphia Real Estate News

7 days and 33" Later

For those that happened to see the pictures from the first storm, I went back Saturday morning to take the same pictures.  I know this is not that unusual for other parts of the country, but it was record breaking for this area.  A bit of a difference after a week and 33" of snow:

Well - I was standing underneath this pile for the original so
this is the best I could do for now - you get the drift.

Not quite that calming atmosphere as seen last week (and actually a bit dreary), but this much snow is still quite extraordinary for this area.

Looking forward to Spring!

Hi David~  I am originally from near the Philadelphia area and just about all of my family lives there!  They have definitely had way too much snow! I think most of us have!   I am over it now, and ready to see it go away until next year! ne

We are in the same boat and still having drifting problems on some of our roads.  There is a lot of farm land and vacant fields which leads to tremedous amounts of drifting snow.

David,

Where is it all going to go?  Did they have to shut the town down at all during the storm?

No shutdowns but I'm afraid we're just going to have to wait for most of it to melt.  It does appear that we will be above freezing during the day for a awhile so it may clear reasonably quickly.  All in due course.

David-I really must say that I don't miss that white stuff.  Thanks for the reminder of what I'm missing.  I'm from Indiana and I know the feeling.  Brrrrrrrrrr.

I want pictures of choo-choo trains covered by snow. Let me know when you have them, or I can just check back. LOL
