Yes - We have snow here...
View of Downtown Swarthmore
The view from the warmth of Hobbs Coffee.
The Swarthmore PA SEPTA R3 Regional Rail Station
We don't usually see drifts blowing through the station.
Just a few additional snow facts compliments of CBS 3:
- Every snow flake has 6 points
- There are 6 basic shapes
- Dry snow piles up faster
- Every State has had snow
Finally just one more thought: The most snow produced in a single snowstorm was 15.75 ft/ 189" at the Mt Shasta Skibowl in California between February 13-19, 1959. No problems here.
Enjoy and be safe! And it continues to snow.......

David: That is just so incredibly beautiful. I haven't seen snow light that (in person) since I lived in Mentor, Ohio... just east of Cleveland. That was a normal happening in Cleveland... and I have been told they had a winter like that last year, as well. Enjoy the beauty Mother Nature has shared with you.
Those pictures look stunning. I think they have motivated me to get out there and take some of my own community. I love fresh snow that no-one has walked on yet.
Karen Anne - Thanks. It looks great but after spending some time shoveling it .... not so sure! Used to live in Erie and lake effect snow didn't have the same allure. Hope you avoided the Pizza Man.
Malcolm - Hope you took some time to get out - it has been a great day to see the neighbors.
